Ice shot Machine Gun (leveling + maps)

This guide covers the full progression from leveling to an Ice shot setup suitable for both Hardcore and Softcore.

This Ice Shot Deadeye Build Guide on the Ranger Class provides massive freezes and cold damage to shatter our enemies. You just quickly clear the area with Icy projectiles and massive cold explosions!

The addition of Deflect makes this build much more comfortable in the endgame. This defensive layer scales with your Evasion, giving you massive less damage taken from enemy hits. On top of that, freezing enemies is the best defense in the game! Frozen enemies cannot move, attack, or cast spells, leaving you safe to reposition or pump out damage.

This build doesn't require any Unique items to function. However, the build does benefit a lot from Cadiro's Gambit.

For leveling, I recommend using Lightning Arrow + Lightning Rod until level 31, when Ice Shot becomes available.

An alternative is poison leveling until maps, but this requires the Pathfinder ascendancy. Since the build does not use Pathfinder long-term, I do not recommend this option unless you plan to change the ascendancy when you reach maps.

A major power spike happens at level 41 with the access to Tornado Shot, which greatly improves clear speed and boss damage. Another big upgrade comes later with the Cadiro's Gambit quiver, resulting in a massive boost to overall damage.

For now the plan is to play a hybrid with evasion and energy shield for endgame. I will do an update video guide asap.

Boss rotation

Until level 41: use Freezing Salvo on cooldown and do damage with Ice Shot. Use Ice-Tipped Arrows and Barrage on cooldown for more dmg.

Starting with level 41: Use Ice-Tipped Arrows a and place Tornado Shot in front of the boss (the nearer the better) and fire away with Ice Shot. use Barrage and Snipe on the frozen boss.

Small enemies you can just hit with Ice Shot, for harder rare enemies just use the boss rota
