Hey guys, KallTorak here! I'm an Off-Meta creator with an affinity for silly goose time builds! This is my Supporting Fire Tact build for speed leveling & end game.
What is Supporting Fire?
Supporting Fire is a Tactician only ability where you rain down a massive amount of arrows. Seriously, I mean massive. It is a Minion Command skill with a very short cooldown. You are constantly able to run around and bombard your enemies with hundreds of arrows rain that cover the entire screen! It being a minion skill means we are able to scale it with minion scaling tricks such as Muster!
The extra cool thing about Supporting Fire is it scales off Strength and Dexterity making stat stacking amazing for this skill. Strength increases its damage while Dexterity increases its area of effect. When leveling with uniques such as Titanrot Cataphract and Astramentis you have one of the safest and most fun leveling experiences in the game!
Is this a minion build?
No! Well kind of but not in the traditional sense. Yes we have a lot of minions following us around but in late game they aren't really contributing to our damage in the grand scheme. They are used for Muster which scales our DPS of Supporting Fire greatly. So while yes we stack a lot of random minions, we only get 1 of them and we mainly use them for debuffs. Supporting Fire is the star of this show! it doesn't feel like you are playing a minion build at all!

优缺点
优势
- Supporting Fire Screen clears from level 20 and the damage scales really well off your strength.
- One button ftw!!
- Stat Stacker version doesnt depend on minion damage to do bossing in late game. We do all of our killing with Supporting Fire.
- Very tanky since we are strength stacking with the new armour stacking changes and deflection buff.
劣势
- Supporting Fire like all ascendancy skills scale with your level. You will not get your final support gem slot until level 90. You unlock the support gem slots at level 40, 65, and 90.
- Using expensive lineage support gems to clear t3 bosses Uul-Netol's Embrace & Dialla's Desire. These aren't required but it speed up the kill for sure.
玩法说明
Supporting Fire throws a flare on the ground. After a very short delay the area is covered in your minions arrows. You are running around throwing these flares on the ground and then watching the carnage. It is very simple and very smooth.

You do not get Supporting Fire until you unlock your ascendancy. You will need to level as something else until you get there.
My preferred leveling style. This is the fastest you can get through act 2 to your ascendancy. Grenades are OP but not everyones favorite. If you don't like grenades checkout the minion tab. It's slower but better than ED/Con start.

The base damage of Supporting Fire scales off your strength. You get 1% increased damage per 1 strength. Strength is our single most important stat for scaling our dps! While minion scaling is strong so much of our raw damage comes from strength. In order to push your DPS as high as possible we are getting that stat as high as we can!
- How important is dex?
- Its okay. It does increase the area by quite a lot but it does have the cap. Its only a 1% increase per 3 dex though so not near as much value as the strength trade off. Increasing dex is awesome and will make the aoe quite bigger but the base aoe on its own is quite massive. In the campaign and in early maps you'll find its pretty easy to get lots of dex but once you are in end game you will be end up with less than 100 dex.
- Warning! Supporting Fire Scales With Player Level:
- Support Fire gains gem levels and sockets with your player level. Sockets specifically are where we get a massive amount of our damage. You won't feel powerful enough for t3 bosses until you have all 5 sockets which requires level 90. You unlock the support gem slots at level 40, 65, and 90.
- Warning #2! How to Fix Jamanra Bug:
- In act 2 when you face Jamanra he will cut the train in half. You will be phased to a new area of the battle, and this will break Supporting Fire. For whatever reason this transition makes it to where you can't cast it. You can fix this by swapping to your other weapon set and back. So make sure you have a 2nd weapon equiped on set 2, Swap to that set once you land in his second phase, and it will reset the cooldown on Supporting Fire.
